Episode 3: REAPER BasicsThis is double-episode with Episode 4 (REAPER: VST and Envelopes): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6n0qw_f9JAWhere to get REAPER? http://www.reaper.fm
How much does it cost? For home usage $60. (I mentioned $50, but new it was for 2.x version, there is recent version 3.x.)
Can I try it? Yes, for 30 days officially, however it does not expire. But it's nice to support REAPER developers!
REAPER allows youto record multiple tracks at once from various sources, mixing audio and MIDI ad-lib. It has great sound routing capabilities (not shown in the video ;-)), ASIO, MIDI and VST support right out of the box. And it's small - yet powerful.
There are nice REAPER tutorials by pipelineaudio - check out this playlist: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=755ACAC010F28AE0
